Default Need Easy editing software

Hi there,

I work for a university in the US. I am looking for some easy-to-use software for video editing. We would only be making short advertisements and clips. So, I need a user-friendly, effects filled program. The students that will be using the software will not necessarily have a working knowledge of film or editing so the program has to be reasonably easy. We're using an all-digital camera (no tape or film). Thanks for any advice you can offer.

-Dave

Back to Basics I think... Windows Movie Maker!

Its easy to use and a 4 year old could pretty much use it.

Available on all copies of Windows XP and above.

Yes, I agree Windows Movie Maker is great for starting off with and if you get into movie making later on then download a trial of some of the more advanced software and see which one you like best.
