0 Videos nominated Video Of the Month(s): 0 | | Video Noise Reduction ----> H E L P Hi all, I'm new in video editing suff. I was unable to found one solution on internet, that is, how to reduce picture noise on a AVI file. I've attached 2 snapshot of a AVi file, where you can easily see the picture quality is very poor. I want to get rid of these picture noises. Is there any way to correct these and how can reduce these picture noises...? Please ... H E L P ... |

Thiose two images are taken from a heavily compressee video stream.
I really do not think there is any way of bringing the detail back out. Your best bet by far is to get access to the original footage (i.e. before it was compressed) and use that.

I agree - that isnt noise that is lack of data as Alan says - you cant get back what isnt there.

0 Videos nominated Video Of the Month(s): 0 | | Thanks, both of you....
It is mainly a video clip from TV which is converted with DivX. I also have the main file which is also poor picture quality but a very big .mpg file.
Is there anyway I can correct that .mpg file a little bit batter and then convert in DivX...?
Is there any software which can work good with these kind of video picture problems...? |

You're not realistically likely to get better quality than the oriogional recording and if the original MPEG2 (also a highly compressed format) files is poor quality then there's not much to gain is there?
