I posted this on a different board here and someone recommended that I post it here instead...so here it is...
Ok, I'm new to all this; the most I've ever used as far as software is concerned is Windows Movie Maker, and I'm sorry to say that the results were much better than they have been with Ulead.
I keep getting these horrible jelly-like lines all through my videos, and I have no idea why. The source file is in MPEG format and has no quality issues whatsoever when played on it's own, but as soon as I import it into Ulead and apply effects (in this case a fade-in and a fade-out), these lines appear. How can I get rid of them?
Also, I'd like some information on video-encoding using Ulead. I will want my videos to be YouTube friendly, so a small file-size with a nice quality to them. What file-format/settings should I use to encode my videos using Ulead?
Thanks in advance -
