one of the things I used to do for practice (on an old panasonic vhs two machine) was make music videos using film clips sourceing straight from the vhs master copies of the films.

Does anyone know of any software that would allow me to do the same from dvd.
i.e. without having to rip it first

try cinamatize, Its pretty new. I don't have it, So I can't say for sure
