| | DVD burning problems Have Pinnacle studio10 and Roxio and no matter what I do I have problems recording from DV camcorder to DVD. I go through the motions of editing (in both), burn movie to DVD and it wont recognise the disc. I have a Phillips DVP630 dvd player. Have tried other players and still having the same problem!! |

| | Did you create a menu? Or go through the authoring steps?

| | DVDs that are to play on stand-alone players, not PCs, need to be at least authored. It's won't work to just burn the mpeg movie file to the disk. The authoring process adds in a lot of info the player needs to make playback as simple as possible for it. Otherwise the players would cost nearly as much as a PC.
Menus can be optional, depends on your software. Maybe someone in the Pinnacle section of the forum can tell you more about this
