Hi what should I edit it on. Sony Vegas 7 or AVID XPRess PRo?

What one has better features etc.?

Vegas is about £400, avid is over £1000. That would clinch it for me.

Also I think Avid is very demanding of hardware.

As to the functionality of avid - no idea, I hope you get something extra for all that cash.

If you want to sell your videos to tv stations and such, you'll impress them if you'll tell them you're using Avid. Otherwise, stay comfortable. And cheaper.

Vegas is priced correctly the others are over priced and do the same if not less, Remember it is not what you have it is how you use it.
