Thread: Error message

I’m a 72 year old and because of this constant error message I reformatted my hard drives and did a complete re-installation. Trying the repair facility on the XP disc did not help. After re-installation I managed to edit one 5 minute video and burn it to a DVD disc with no problem. However, the problem has returned.

Ulead won’t even answer my ‘Lost password’ plea, so I’m at a loss.

The error occurs when I use Ulead video editing suite (once with Move Maker), not only editing but playing back an edited video. When playing back the video cursor freezes at 1minute 13 seconds and an error box pops up but the video and sound carry on as normal.

Ulead VideoStudio has encounted a problem and needs to close. Sorry for any convenience.

Ulead update pack installed: UVS 9 full patch 5 in 1.exe, from ftp.ulead.com (to no avail)

In system information, there are no problem devices reported and no forced hardware

I've found the problem!

There was a conflict with a new Phillips SPC 700NC webcam. I uninstalled it and the problem went with it.
