| | making lighter videos Hi all
I am a newbie here, although I have been searching a bit around these parts I did not find any answer to the following question
I have mpeg-2 video clips on my computer, they are from my cam. I would like to make them lighter. The clips are currently to heavy to let me upload them easily anywhere on the web
Anyone has an idea how to make them lighter?
Sorry if this is a odd question, I am totally new to video editing
any help would be appreciated
thanks |

| | Do you mean smaller as in less big or lighter as in more bright? Your question is a bit ambiguous.

| | ooops sorry for misunderstanding
I mean lighter as in less big of course.
I just want to loose some ko or Mo, it could be a size reduction, a loss of quality or whatever but, how do I do that? |

| | You can download windows media encoder free from m soft. This makes .wmv files that look ok at 500k bit/sec and stream on / in most systems / browsers.
There are others like divx and q time but imho .wmv is the most 'portable'.
