Default VideoRedo

I use VideoRedo to edit videos i have but the problem is it only allows you to use .mpg files, i need a program similar to VideoRedo but one that will take .avi files?

Also i'm looking for a program that will convert a video i have to a slo mo version?

For just cutting things out of an AVI file without recompression, try AVI trimmer: http://www.solveigmm.com/?Products&id=AVITrimmer

VideoRedo was never designed to Non Linear video editing per se, merely cutting and trimming. If you want to slow clips down, you're entering the world of a video editing software and will need something like Premiere Elements or Pure Motion Edit Studio. Note that video editing software is not designed to edit without recompression, as typically editors will work with low or no compression.
