I have loads of dv tapes recorded on Sony camcorders that I need to edit i.e cut out all the rubbish. I then want to re-record the edits from a timeline back onto Dv tape and retain the datacode i.e. date and time of shooting (not timecode) so that I can re-acess it, as required, using Sony camcorders/player datacode on/off switch i.e. I don't want to burn the datacode onto the video picture. The only software I know that does this is Ulead, (Pinnacle,Adobe, Avid etc seem to lose the info once it goes onto or leaves the timeline) Does anyone konw of any other software that may help
