Default Ulead 7 trial version

Ok having burnt a few movies to dvd, i have a question!!

When i have rendered the movie and go to save it as a mpeg2 file the save as file box only gives me the option to save as Mpeg, no mention of it being mpeg2, is it saving it as mpeg or mpeg2?

Thanks

Michael

Before you click the save button, hit the 'Options' button and double check that you are saving as a DVD Complaint Mpeg file.

Yep its set to DVD complaint mpeg file, i just could understand why it says it is saving it as mpeg rather than mpeg2!

Thanks

Mike

If I recall correctly, ALL MPEG files use the .mpg extension. MPEG, MPEG2, MPEG4, all use it. The different numbers you're seeing are the codecs that it's being saved in.

I could be totally wrong because I'm saying this completely off the top of my head, but then again I could be right.
