I've made a video that I would like to display online, but when you view it, it has to download the complete file before it displays in Media player.
How can I make it so it streams? I'm using Vdub, I can't figure it out.

If you use .wmv, mpeg or QT it will play and download at the same time, they can also be made to stream and not download. I believe divx can now be made to stream but avi video requires the whole file to download so that the player can use the information in the header to play the file.

Hello
There are two parts to streaming.
1) Encoded File
2) Server
I would download the free windows media encoder and then convert to .wmv
In the converting options set it to stream from a web server so you can add to your html server. The best way to serve the content would to place the .wmv onto a streaming server (mms/rtsp server) instead of an html server. The choice is yours. Sean Fleck
