    Default OLD threads

There are many very old threads that have not been updated is there any reason that threads of a year old can not be removed

    Why would they be removed?

Feel free to look through them and update what ever you feel is out of date. Some information will never be out of date like how do you light a scene like this etc. BUT some things like what is the best camera or computer will be out dated before the end of the day !

It's hard for the people who run the forum on a voluntary part time basis to keep every thread up to date . It's hard enough to answer all the current threads without having to worry that some of the older ones might be out dated now.

We try our best to offer the members a good service but we are not perfect.

    I am

it's a forum. it's often useful to refer people back to comments made a few years ago, or indeed to refer back to them oneself.

Plus, there's the bottom line. We need content to generate ad revenue. Otherwise muggins here has to foot the costs of hosting and maintenance.
