I have had 2 warnings and one suspension for not making skateboard vids on a cell phone.
I want to start an account that is expendable for my risky stuff - anyone know if you tube track ips - you think they will ban my zaskarfilms page if i transgress on an account from the same ip ????

I would have thought they'd block the person's IP adress, they are not going to just go by the alias surely?.

I can just picture the YouTube police driving around looking for people trying to find them, somehow an old black and white episode of Z Cars has appeared in my head and Brian Blessed is at the wheel. Oh happy days.

Are you referring to latest outpouring of middle class angst susequent to the Brand gate tape? And the there was that crazy speech by that daily mail ladies knocker wearing editor?
What bothers me about the coorperate censorship is that we dont know who they are - there can be no debate - thay cannot be held accountable.
Censorship by the state is usually the result of a public debate and is the responsability of accountable organisations / people.
Jeepers even Mary Whitehouse was always happy to engage in debate about rude words on the tv.
Scary stuff.
As for fully binding state censorhip - sorry but that sounds a bit over the top - what exactly do you mean and why so pessimistic. My bet is the Brand gate incident is just an example of the hobby of the blue rinse no sex please were mail readers brigade - BBC bashing - a great and stupid stupid tradition in this country.
And got even get me started on that Noel Edmonds....

Corporations will tend only to censor when its either in
A) the best interest to make money or
B) Under influence of Govt.
I believe that YT stance is driven by B.
