Used a bit of poetic licence in the description....thats probably what helped us get over half a million hits....well isn't that what its all about... lol

By biggest hit was a video I did for GCSE media, like 5 years ago. It was a music video for a Green Day song, which is no doubt why it got so many hits. It's pretty rubbish though.

Some guy sent me a death threat because he thought I was blaspheming Green Day. I'm not kidding. this guy was a nutcase

An interesting thing is happening to one of my videos, but not on YouTube. Seven days ago I posted the short video "Desert Rush-Hour" on Yahoo video. Today it had over 13,000 hits! In 7 days? I checked and found it had been featured on Yahoo's Animal All-Stars Network Animal All-Stars on Yahoo! Video at like the number three selection. I guess that explains it. It was just some stupid hand-held footage my wife shot that I edited together just to sooth her ego. Who would have thunk it!

Does yahoo video have a advertising partnership, with a view count like that you could earn some easy dollars.

Content is king, even if its just hand held footage..

My biggest youtube hit? A star wars 'fan film' I made 7 years ago (before I had access to good old final cut pro!). Added last year, it has over 100,000 views now.

Default Biggest first day on youtube
Just produced this little Vlog related to my next mad bomber video, for me it has had the biggest first 24 hours gathering 1500 views by using subscriber power only, no forum posting.


Its nothing really that special, just a blurb about model trains and some hints of what I am planning of doing next episode.

I know Mark W will say it has crappy sound, so thats already noted, but Mark content is king, and thats my advice to you.

Whats important here is 30 people have added it as fav, thats the secret power of the tube, it should keep doing very well.
