Holographic discs!!??

...I won't type it all out but here's a summary.

Inphase technologies is developing a new type of holographic disc that can store 200GB!! it uses 2 lasers instead of one to read the data. the point where they intersect is where it is read so the disc has storage in many layers instead of just one. It can transfer up to 20 mb per sec...

sounds good. any opinions?

As i recall, the theme for the new issue is weddings. Might be worth a read if anyone is heading off to a wedding in the near future.

wow, who needs a nig fat hard drive when youve got a holographic disc? i think this would be a really good invention in about.... 5 years? i dont know though, it will be super expensive, and as im saving for a VX2100 right now i couldnt do that
