Forum search function broken?

For some reason I can't get the search function to work. I put in a simple term like "DVD" and it says "no matches found"!

Works for me.

I just searched the word 'search'. This thread was at the top of the list of hits (discounting the sticky post).

I just saw that search works for everything BUT DVD. Why not the term DVD

Think I sussed it.

Search terms must be longer than 3 letters.

Tried DV - no hits
Tried miniDV - loads of hits

Forum searcg functions are generally a bit 'pants'. Whenever I search a forum (even this one), I use google. For example searching for 'DVD' on the site would look like this:

site:www.videoforums.co.uk dvd

I have now added a seperate function on the search option which lets you search the site using google. Hope this is useful.
