I'm doing a project and would like to incorporate a Google earth video.
The video capture tool is available but I'm reluctant to spend the money just for a pilot.
Is there anyone that could record the clip for me and send me the file? (I can give you the postcode etc).

Have you tried a screen capture utility like snag it ? Might work.

As Mark W. was suggesting there are loads of screen capture tools out there. I used one a while back (cant remember the name) and it was very extensive as to bitrates, frame rates and resolution options resutling in a smooth capture.

I am not sure that I understand what you want?
Is it a zoom into earth or a skim over the surface?
Not suggesting that I can help but I will give it a shot.
