Let's say you were to buy a digital camcorder, your very first one. Then let's say that after you spent all your money you read the manual of said camcorder and figured out that the next higher up model has a plug for a microphone for better sound recording. Suddenly while looking at all of your videos you are very saddened by sucky sound and no hole in your camcorder to make it all better.
