I am currently a highschool student in Texas. I hope to continue through college and work as an editor for a living. I was just wondering if there was anyone here who is in the business and has suggestions for a future co-worker.

I'm not exactly in the business.... yet. I attend USC's film program. I'm going to be a sophmore this year. You should probably go through film school if you specifically want to be an editor. Look up lots of film schools. Some REAL colleges in the USA probably are USC, NYU, U of Texas at Austin, Florida State, Columbia, San Francisco State and Cal Institute of Arts.

Just get started there, looking around at film schools. Good luck!
