I had an idea that it might be nice to contact other visiondtv card users
and swap HDTV demos with them on DVD.

I don't think that it would be of much concern to tv stations if we did this.

Over here in Australia, we've got two demos on continuous loop.
one is in 720p [channel seven] and the other is 1080i [channel nine].

Although I have tried recording the 1080i version, it comes out a bit
choppy even though I recently upgraded to a P4 3.2ghz machine with
1gb RAM and an ATI Radeon 7500 [the latter may be the weakest link].

Still, I have the two seven demos. the earlier one and the brand new one
which both feature beautiful scenery and great music.

I suppose the thing is that I really like watching these things but the same
one over and over is a bit silly, why can't TV stations get together and
share?

Anyway, I suppose this is a sort of I'll show you mine if you show me yours, affair.

The demos I have were captured as is and haven't been meddled with in
anyway to possibly reduce clarity etc, I'd expect the same.
