Default A good Gaming machine

Right - when it comes to machine specs I know what's good and what's not. I've been building my own machines for the past 5 years!

A friend of mine wants to buy a ready built machine for gaming. He wants a ready made machine because:
1) He lives in Ireland and cant build one himself and I cant build it for him if he's in Ireland.
2) With pre built systems you usually get the whole bundle as in: you get monitors, keyboards, mice, Operating system Installed and so on.
3) You get the support option if it goes wrong!

His budget is around £800, for that i would expect serious graphics card performance, and striped raid setup.

So I ask you my breatheren! - Other than Alienware, Mesh & Dell can anyone recommend any Manufactureres that specialise in Gaming machines?

Answers on a postcard......

Looks great. Very much similar to my video PC, which runs like a charm with Windows XP Pro x64.

Ye it's a good price as you are getting a lot of machine there, would need more drive space for video editing but for gaming it's pretty spot on.

You wouldn't happen to work for them would you?

Just a few questions:

Why not a Venice core Athlon?
What brand RAM/HDD/Motherboard/DVD/Case/PSU?

Lol, no I don't work for them.

Why not a Venice core Athlon?
EDITED Ye the venice is only £9 difference (didn't notice that).

What brand RAM/HDD/Motherboard/DVD/Case/PSU?
Dunno what do you expect for £800? Although the RAM has lifetime warrenty so I should imagine it would be branded.

The site Quotes "We only buy our components from leading manufacturers such as IBM, Maxtor, Intel, Asus, Gigabyte etc."
