editing showreels

hi, i'm working on my showreel and i'm thinking of adding a few movie quotes before my actual showreel begins. Is that ok? In addition to that, the big question - music . Can i use any music if my showreel is only made for the viewing of schools?

quotes are fine as long as they are not drawn out and boring.

Music: Strictly speaking you should always register music but for showreels - most people wont really care as long as its not for mainstream public showing.
