Default Problems recording NTSC - black and White - PAL is OK

Hi there,

I am recording from a UK video player which plays NTSC and PAL. I can record PAL fine and burn to DVD.

However, I cannot record NTSC fine - it is either black and white or a very weak colour. The VHS tape is NTSC
I use NEODVD change the settings to NTSC in two places but doesn't record it as a proper colour mpeg file. I have a AVER EZMAKER capture card.

I am looking for a soloution which will allow me to record either PAL or NTSC onto my PC in MPEG format - in colour to the same quality or as close as possible as the VHS tape.

Any recommendations on how I can achieve this?
