I have just received this from a potential client,

Tell him that he shouldn't have used black & white videotape, next time make sure he buys colour tapes, they're a bit more expensive but well worth it.
Then stand well back.

hand colourise each frame in p shop.
Beware of those daft effects that some cameras have.

What a shame! I bet the guy who did their wedding video thought it was damn artistic to use sepia... why bother asking the client?

Thanks for all your advice guys. Its really pretty much as I had thought.
I had suggested that the sepia be converted to black and white and mixed with (perhaps) some colour stills for an interesting montage.
I was just hoping against hope that someone had come across a miracle cure I hadn't heard of.
