Hello, I’m not 100% sure I’m posting this in the right forum topic, but it seamed the most promising…
Anyways, I’m looking for a video editing program for my computer (I’m getting sick of 30 day trials and stuff like that). I’m not new to video editing but I’m not an expert, although I’m pretty good at figuring things out. I have about 175$ in Christmas money that I’m willing to spend but id really prefer not too (ha) so does anyone have any suggestions for a program fitting my description?
Thanks |

I recommend Magix's Movie Edit Pro 10. It's about $50, maybe less by now. www.magix.com.
Good features, stability and performance.

Well, rather than recommend a specific NLE I would say that, from your post, you've been through a few 30 day demos. So why not just buy the one you likes or got on with the most.
I appreciate that they are maybe demos of pro versions but the s/w providers often have cut down versions of their stuff. i.e. if you demo'd Adobe Premier Pro then and got on well with it then why not invest in Premiere Elements.

One to throw into the hat is Pure Motion Edit Studio. Remember too that you might want to consider a dedicated DVD authoring application.
