None whatsoever. I've been looking at weather reports with eager anticipation of a day snowed off work - it all started off so promising, forecasting heavy snow... which ended up as sleet by the end of the day.

Rub it in you two.
We have 78 degrees and sunny skies. No sign of snow anytime soon.

What I wouldn't give for the sun glowing my face right now. Cold weather is just cold weather without snow. A crisp blanket of fresh snow and the crunch of the first footprints makes suffering a mediocre British winter worthwhile. I couldn't get enough of the snow as a kid, and the same is true now. It's funny, a young girl was bemoaning the onset of snow recently, saying it was all she needed. I was amazed - how could someone full of youth (ok, she was in her early 20s and I'm not that much older) have such an attitude. For me, snow was always a great time in my childhood. Probably indicative of my character, I would spend hours in the field next to my house rolling balls of snow. I didn't care that everyone else had gone in. I didn't care that I couldn't feel my hands and my nose felt like it was about to fall off my face. I was happy rolling my balls, and making my snowmen. My mates thought it was fun to throw snow at cars; I found it a challenge to get my snowball as big as possible. Build it up until I couldn't push it anymore.
Snowballs in winter, frisbie in the sun. Two of the times when I'll always have a smile on my face.

Although I live in Kent, I'm only a mile away from having a 0208 number, I'm in the London Borough of Bromley, and 15 minutes away from London Bridge by train.
