Nice one mark...Thats got to be the best way to show the difference!
In my opinion, for editng...your better off with 2 15 inch monitors than 1 21 inch...
If your being really greedy, you need an output monitor too! Any old tv will do (depending on your gfx/edit board) makes life much easier if your editing with someone else...(director/group project/Mate) as they can sit back and watch the TV instead of crowding you trying to watch your monitor...
Just my 2p!

My roomate and I have a rig set up where we have two 20 inch apple monitors and a small TV next to it for colors/what not. It works really well, we also have a laptop on another side of the desk if one is editing and one wants to chat/surf the web or whatever.

The only problem I have with this is that you are streching the resolution beyond the capabilituies of the project. Unless of course you are working in HD.

First I had one monitor, now I use five. It is possible to get the monitor habit. I scrounged most of mine cos everyone is going tft at the moment and old crts are getting dumped in skips everywhere. Only downside is my sagging desk and the electricity bill.

What graphics card do you use with five monitors Zaskar? Ive been looking at some multi screen options recently but there pretty pricey!

I have an old matrox 2d pci card for 4 monitors and one is driven by a fast agp card. This works fine but only one screen is fully accelerated, this means one screen is better for things that need lots of grapics power. I would prefer a 4 head 3d accelrated card but these are probably very expensive. My matrox was only 70 quid s/h.
