A sony DCR-PC8E off ebay, a teeny sony camcorder.
Actaully it was misdescribed by the seller and a PC6E arrived. Trouble is I was aftrer the 8 cos of the analogue vid in for use with a bullet cam. GRRR
It is a very cute gadget and my 'spare' small cam is a pretty hopeless and not that small ancient panasonic so I may keep it if the seller will give me a part refund cos of the misdescription of the item. Currently in negotiations.
I expect I will keep it as it is really very cute and usefull for 'snap' filming, it also has a very wide convertor too.
Havent played with it yet. Will be interesting to see how it performs.

Just purchased a rode video mic for the above. The combo with the w angle lens will make a demon set up for low profile interviews and close up in the action stuff.

Sennheiser MKH 60 microphone... Very sexy, mind-blowing sound quality.
Costa-lotta-doh but, hey, the missus is away for a week, time to hide it in the Rycote Softie and she'll be none the wiser.

The crippler is... You fork out well over a grand for a microphone, and it doesn't even come with a foam pop-cover (that's an "accessory" and costs twenty quid ).
'kin 'ell Batman!
Still, that's my sound kit finsihed... Just as I've wanted it for ages.
PS: Your DCR-PC8E is better and goes wider than my DCR-PC106 though :(

In the last 10 days, a new computer with two P4 3Ghz processors, 2 GB RAM, 200 GB internal HD and a 20 GB external HD. Plus CR-Rom R/W and 17" LCD display. Quite a nice jump from a four-year old Toshiba Laptop.
