Hi I'm persis. 35. Female. Writer and Director for docus, infotainment and reality shows on shitty TV channels in Singapore. Done work for Disney Channel, Sony Pictures and other corporate TV freaks.

Hate TV but aspiring to do film.

A bit nutty. Probably abducted by aliens in a previous lifetime and then brought back to Earth in this lifetime but we're still investigating on that one.

Great wit. Loves telling a story with a sense of 'dork' sandwiched somewhere between.

Corn, cheese and kitsch! Absolute must!

Enjoys the first cup of coffee in the morning along with a nice piece of toast.

Vegetarian and loves finding psychoanalytical BS in her works, or in other words, MEANING.

Still fighting to get a director's chair onset during shoots. Status: Not doing very well but affirming that chair will arrive sometime in this life.

Enjoys animated films with 'dork' factor and other cutting-edge movies with a tight storyline.

Very detailed and organised in work and tries to achieve a high standard in work, although most times this may not be an achievable here in sunny SPORE.

Movie wise I have just got going, bought my first camcorder and pinanacle software.... Basically I am muso (Piano man and singer) and would like to make some videos to go on Youtube etc

Hey Guys,

My name's Nick... (well, that's the name on this credit card I didn't steal), but really, it's Nick and I'm from Glasgow. I'm 19 years old and I became interested in making videos back when me and a friend made 'scary' slasher movies using his camcorder years ago. Ketchup was useful! I've not had much experience but I'm keen to learn and to improve. I'm currently doing a media course that involves video production which has been a rollercoaster ride of positives and negatives; but that's expected. I'm also interested in learning more about editing, too.

I use Adobe Premiere Elements 3 at the moment. I did have a bog standard Canon MD101 MiniDV camcorder, but it broke so I'm returning it and thinking about buying a new one. Right now I'm in posession of my friend's beautiful Canon HV20 HD camcorder; really love it. Think I might buy one of my own when I get the monies.

I'm fully aware that this is an industry that's quite difficult to break in to, but one day I'd love to work as part of a production team. Especially for music videos.

Well, I'm glad I've got around to joining a forum of like-minded individuals. Look forward to getting to know you all.
