| | I'm a huge F1 fan.
I was a huge F1 fan.
Just when we got to a stage where it wasn't a red bloody car winning everything (car, not driver) and they go and shaft it all up like that.
Truly pathetic. |

| | Yeah that whole shindig went down in my town, people were all pissed off and stuff. Throwing beer, kickin other people in the boobs... well not really, but they were mad and screaming at our nightly news.

| | You should read some of the news on the F1 Site in regards to this. http://www.f1racing.net/en/formula1/

OUCH! Lawsuit city. Not a good deal at all and especially for the likelyhood of another US event taking place anytime soon. Some very angry fans indeed. Some of them had no idea that this was even taking place and showed up like normal to watch. You would think that they could have reached some type of agreement before all of this had started.

| | F1 is getting better - bar US GP In all I think it is much better this year with new tracks, new rules and no red cars miles in front.
The US GP was a bit of a carry on tho.... |

| | You're right, of course.
Thing is though, F1 still has a long way to go to get back to what I would call real, exciting 'racing'.
If you compare F3 to F1 the excitement factor in F3 is far better. F1 has got too wound up in the rules governing aero. The mechanical grip is gone and aero grip rules to the point that a car chasing another cannot get past due to the air displaced by the car in front. Even when the chase car is far faster. Max should take a long hard look at F1, get back to slicks, cut the aero crap, disallow driver aids, and let the guys just race.
Oh for the days of Mansell and Senna. |

| | Yes, I do agree. Although I love F1 it would nice to see just racing. The rules are complex and even for those who follow it. It needs stripped down and taken back to basics then we can all grow Mansell moustaches.
That would be fine by me |
