| | Magic bullet editors Pre Pro problem!
Hello Marc,
Good to see the site is still running well. Anyhow I hope you can help me with my problem.
I have recently purchased the Editors edition of Magic Bullet and I have encountered a problem. When I loaded it (and I have uninstalled and loaded it three times now) it did install the Looks suite and msifire in the pluggins folder but when I loaded up Prem Pro they could be found no where in the Effects section. Can you help me with this please?
Ps. I did buy this software as a direct result of reading your review (no pressure or nothing)

After 6hrs of looking for updates and quite a bit of trial and error I managed to get the look suite loaded up and the movie looks, however the movie looks is only giving me 10 presets instead of the stated 55 as stated by the makers.
Marc your advice was helpful because it helped me to know i was on the right track, but can you direct me to some plug-ins to get the 55 stated or is it a case of re-installing the programme again?

It sounds like you have installed the free set for registered users of Premiere. Delete and start again.

I've just installed Magic Bullet this morning and have been playing with it today...
Great review of a great product! Im sure it will take a little while to get the hang of, my dual nocona 4gb seems to handle them ok although they do require rendering...
The presets are great like you say the naming is a little weird sometimes... I have a wedding to do shortly so they are going to be very lucky people with all my new effects! :P
the Dream effect is one of my favorite... (I can never spell that word)
cheers

Well Marc I followed your advice, but sadly it is still not working, the look suite presets are not loading in the effects area of Prem Pro.
Could it possibly that I have the movie looks installed as well or something to do with Prem Pro itself. Having said that Prem Pro is working good and I'm using the looksuite with some success, but as the previous poster above said it will take a couple week to get a proper feel.
any sugestions you could give me would be appreciated.

As Marc said above,
You need to make sure everything is installed correctly. When you installed it asked you for an installation path... (c: by default...)
If you chose this then you need to explore your C: and find the Magic bullet folder. Then copy the contents and paste to
C: programs, Adobe, Plugins,EUUS (or similair Im on a pc with no premier installed at the mo)
This worked for me... let me know how you get on.
Cheers
