Blood is red. As is red wine. Bullfighters use a red cloth, and red is often a sign of anger. Red is normally associated with "stop", and red bull gives you wings. If it's simply red, you may get a song out of it, but if its reddish, you may well make a salad (sorry).
Come on, red has got to be the easiest competition theme so far!

Alan, I think this is the theme for you. For example.....
Man dressed in a RED shirt, with a gun  walks into the RED lion pub and buys a RED bull drink. A man who introduces himself as fRED irritates him (common theme ). He sees RED. He pulls his gun, blows to irritant away causing enormous amounts of RED blood to be spilled on the RED carpet. Man finishes his RED bull drink, walks out and gets into his foRED mondeo (with working sat nav set to REDitch and drives away in a cloud of RED smoke.
There. Easy! :lol:

I'm missing something here I reckon. I thought the idea was to make 'red' the theme or subject of the movie. Anyone can make a movie about anything and then say "well, he was wearing a red T-shirt". Hardly qualifies to my way of thinking. Am I wrong. Is that all we need to do? Put something red in it. Hardly worth having a theme at all if that's the case. It's making the colour red pivotal to the movie that I'm lacking in ideas about.
Don't worry though. I'll come up with something.

Remember it's an interpretation is an entire section. If people don't think yiou've stuck to the theme, you WON'T win. (I may weight this section).

So then, what are the timescales on this one? May was mentioned. Is that for when details of the comp will be revealed or when entries must be in by?
