What's the Videoforum for then?

So then, what is everyone (intending to go) hoping to get from the videoforum next week then?

For my part, I want to just soak up as much as I can. For the two days I'll be there I'll have to leave just before 4pm so will miss a few seminars I was hoping to get in but never mind.

I do want to check out all the HDV stuff though. Specifically, I want to ask Adobe when their HDV plugin is going to finally appear.

Also, I'll be looking to see if I can't get a good deal on one of those SONY DCR-FX1's while there - well, I can hope.

And last but not least it would be nice to meet up with some of you guys, including Marc if he manages to get that day release pass from prison

I want some materials for some reviews (yes, I still have 3 half written ones to finish before then), meet up with some bods from the site (hopefully the polo shirts will be ready by then!), and get my hands dirty on some filthy technology. And take lots of pictures with my new camera!

Went for the Canon Ixus 500. Saw it in Comet for the same price (well, after accounting for P&P and waiting around the whole day) as online. When I saw it in the flesh, I knew I had to have it.

Marc and Alan, I will be there for the 3 days. I'm co-exhibiting on the "Bowens International" stand (stand 206 next to Sony) so pop by and say hi.

I'll be standing with a huge "Lighting for Digital Video" banner above my head.

Haven't seen a floor plan at all. I've looked but can't find one anywhere. have I missed it? Have you got one you can send?

I'm def going to the Sony stand and also interested in lighting so will certainly stop by. However, I may be in disguise and Marc, well he usually goes places 'in the flesh' so he'll be easy to spot!

Hopefully they will be done in time. If so any chance I can persuade you to take mine there with you and I'll claim it personally - in the flesh so to speak.
