Default A life update...

It's Christmas Eve, and as some of you may know I've handed in my notice at my lovely place of work. I quit, resign, I'm leaving.

What does this mean for YOU? Not a lot really to be honest. Expect to see updates at www.marcpeters.co.uk, and even more posts from me on the forums.

It's all a bit scary for me really, so I'll probably be a bit WIERD and EMOTIONAL like a big GIRLIE.

Wish me luck...

Sometimes these things have a way working out for the best. I was in exactly this same position about 15 years ago. I took the opportunity to retrain in a different industry, which was the best move I ever made (and I never would have done it had I not been made unemployed).

Whatever the future holds I wish you the very best of luck. Put it out your mind at least for the next few days and have a jolly wizzo Christmas.

All the best and Merry Christmas

I still think that the fact that you run this website will put you in a good standing for a position in something related to viditing.

Here here!

I too think you've done the right thing.

A couple of years ago i would have been apalled at someone giving up a perfectly good job when no other was in the offing but in the last few years I've learned that life is just too short to waste being unhappy. You clearly listened to your heart and got out. That's to be commended. Congrats and I hope things work out for the better.

You're only young once, right? Well, before I get a mortgage, girlfriend, wife and kids (not particulary in that order or all at the same time), I feel the need for travelling!!!!

So what better than to combine the website with this need, eh? There must be literally a few video editing expos on around the world in the coming months... you thinking what I'm thinking?

How about an article on the video editing technology from Japan for example (he writes this wiyj Lost in Translation playing in the background). Have laptop and XM2, will travel!

Give me ideas people!!!
