Can anyone offer any advice on putting a showreel together? How long should it be, what to include, style etc? I know its quite a vague question, but any suggestions/tips would be greatly appreciated, cheers
What videos have you done? What is your target client? And lots more questions along these lines.
Show reels generally consist of what you consider to be snippets of your best work/what you think the client would consider to be in their best interest. Take a look at some pro showreels and see for yourself.
I have made 2 films while at college, a documentary and a conceptual piece, and also edited a promotional video for a circus. I will applying for editing jobs soon, and wanted to get some ideas on style/format. Will check out some examples
