Default Digital Film?

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that digital video looks better than film stock? Anyone? Anyone?

As someone who regularly likes to annoy "traditionalists" by claiming newer things are better, I'm with Marc.

I also like to insist that the new Minis are better, TV programmes are better than they used to be, Older computer games only seemed better because people had much lower expectations, and CDs are better than vinyl.

I am spitting feathers here

I agree with the CD better than vinyl. Through gritted teeth I can accept how some could perceive newer games to be better than the old ones. I couldn't care a less about TV programmes as I rarely watch the TV.

BUT to say the new minis are better than the old mini is a blatant lack of understanding about what it was that made the mini great - charisma. You'd have been done for treason in times gone by for that statement (if they had minis then)

Speaking of which, did anyone ever see 'digital film' in action? - by which I mean, cinema projectors using Texas Instruments DLP Cinema technology.
