Right dudes. I said I would post an example once I tested out my steadycam.

Attached is an example WMV showing two examples of showing with and without my 'steadycam' of me running up and down some steps close to my house. And I was running remember.

Also attached is a photo of me holding my 'steadycam'.

As you can see, I didn't build anything at all. It's just my trusty cheapo tripod with the central column extended leaving all the weight of the legs at the bottom.

As you can tell, I need more practise becauyse I kept letting the aim of the camera wander to the right a little but the difference is there to be seen as I'm sure you'll agree.

My thoughts exactly. However, I do need to preactice a litle more. What you saw were my very first attempts. Not perfect but I think it shows that you don't have to spend all day looking for parts around DIY stores and the rest of the weekend putting them together. Not do you need to spend a firtune.
