" Without doubt the aspiration of a decent You Tube alternative promoting free speech, quality content and at the same time a main aim of relaxed censorship is one that's a mighty tall mountain to climb. "
I am time rich and money poor and enjoy a challenge. I see this as a long term project. It is huge but it would rule.

Mark, why don't you upload all your videos to digital-director.tv? I know the quality is poor, but it's got to start somewhere?

I agree with the above, the 'Clipshare' template used on digital-director.tv may be a good place to start and there's no reason why it couldn't grow to become something bigger.
Talking of growing bigger (ahem), take a look at pornhub.com (purely for research purposes of course) to see how professional and accessible a video sharing site can become using the Clipshare model and as long as it has good user support.
I even tried starting one myself using a similar video sharing template at beextreme.tv. Great for UK extreme sport fans!

This and dd.tv sit on a dedicated server, so you don't get the problems that most clipshare installations have. I'm good to you guys...

' yourtube.com ' - for sale at £9.95.
Assuming it caould be relocated but still associated with d director - any other idea?
