Default New here... I have a digital editing question

Hello,
I have just signed up, and I have a question about digital video editing.
Is there any program available that will allow pictures taken with a still digital camera to be placed in order and then converted to a motion picture?

I am trying to think how to word this properly... I wish to take still photos experimentally, and incorporate them into a movie, one frame at a time.

Is this possible? An what program would allow this to be done?

Thank you for any help

Best,

Will Berdan II

thanks for the reply... the video editor that comes with windows only allows you to place still frames down to .125 seconds... which isn't enough for my purpose.

any more suggestions?

please?

Are you talking about the effect in Fight Club where Tyler Durden inserts a picture of a, ahem, "member" into a regular video so that it only flashes up very quickly?

haha- no.

im looking to create a 50 second film that is silent, and each frame (lets say ill do it 24) will be taken with a still camera. so that i can manipulate manual focus and shutter speed with each individual frame, giving me greater control over the outcome
