Default Some cameras

We couldnt go out filming - it was raining ++, we were bored. I should have called this thread camera porn....

Right to left.

1920s - Cine kodak BB junior - 16mm
1950s - Cine Kodak magazine 8 - 8mm flip over cart, this cam shoots up to 64fps
1960s - Prinz Cavalier, std 8mm, 3 lens rotating turret and (wow) electronic light meter.
1970s - Bell and Howell Focus-matic, super 8mm, auto focus - blimey ! And the v finer is 'through lens' - jeepers !
1999? - Sony PC4 DV
2005 - JVC DV 5000e
2008 - Canon HG10 hdv hard disc camera.
2008 - Pauls sexy Sony PMW EX1 (owned by pkbristol, HD, 35mbit to cards.)


Forgot to put in my old vx9000s - in the back of a cupboard in bits....

Caption for that middle pic anyone ?

2 vx9000e, one exploded, first gen DV, same innards as a vx1000 but big tapes.

No - but i might get round to it.
The hassle and cost puts me off, but it would be fun and they all appear to work. I got a as far as seeing if you can get all the weird film stock and it appears you can.

You certainly look after your cameras Mark, the film cameras look great especially the one with the three lenses.

Well it certainly shows in the images that you have looked after them, have you ever had them valued now to see what they are worth? The camera with the three lenses reminded me of an old episode of Top Of The Pops, 1968, where Joe Cocker and The Greaseband were on stage singing '(I get by) With a little help from my friends' and from what I remember the cameras didn't have zoom lenses. Instead they had that 3 lens setup where they could go from a wide shot, to a medium shot to a close up by rotating the lenses at the front. Any chance we'll see you on The Antiques Roadshow looking all surprised when you are told how much they are worth?
