Hi there - it seems I have had 4 posts deleted today, and I was just wondering if I could understand why.

3 were comments about films I watched, one was over 40 minutes long. Maybe I'm not supposed to comment and if so, I'm sorry and apologize, but I couldn't find any rules on that.

The 4th was after I posted about a project called Mystery Manor in the Pimp the Link - I responded to a question and my post was deleted.

I don't wish to rock the boat - just wondering where I was off- base.

Thanks!

I just noticed that one of my posts from late last night / early this morning has gone too. It was in the Creating the Story, How do you do it? thread. I've checked in my user CP and the last post recorded there is stated to be 30th April 07. It also says total 18 posts. After I posted the last one, the total was definitely 19.

Has the database been restored from a backup or something else that could account for missing posts ?

Any info gratefully received.

Sincere apologies guys. It's nothing you've done, but rather a server migration that essentially meant that we restored a database. Unfortunately it seems a few posts went missing in the ether and I can only apologise for that.

Rest assured however that the server migration was an upgrade and you should hopefully notice an improvement in the overall quality of the site (if not the posts!).

Apologies once again.

Yes, thanks for letting us know. I was wondering what the heck I had done.

I know how it feels. I had the same thing happen on a forum I run last year due to an upgrade with the server. Posts were doing a bit of an abracadbra act! But the improvement was worth it in the end.
