Hi there,

I've just got a camera and i'm wanting to make some short films... i was wondering what would be the best software to use ?
Is there any software that allows you to have filmed yourself, and cut just 'me' and put me over a background? like, so it looks like i'm standing in front of the sea for example..

any help would be appriciated.

Its called "Chroma Key". Pretty much any editing software will be able to do that for you. I use Adobe Premiere. But at my art school we use Final Cut, and i'm pretty sure you can also do it with that but the price of Final Cut is way higher.
