What disk did you put in your PC. I just done a quick search and it is a Mini DV camcorder. Presumably you mean the disk with software on it so you can download your movies?

If so then the best thing you can do with that disk is use it as a coffee mat! Seriously. You will need no s.w at all for that camera. get yoursefl a firewire lead and just about any video editor (worth the name) will be able to take control of your camera through the firewire lead and download your movies.

I seriously cannot imagine areason for the disk that comes with the camera to ever see the inside of the DVD/CD drawer on your PC.
