Default Video Production on a budget

Hi Guys,

I am new to video making and I am after a bit of advice,

I have been selling my photography for a couple of years at sites like Shutterstock and Istockphoto and been doing quite well. Recently they started offering stock video clips for sale and I have been producing time lapse videos on my DSLR camera for about a month.

These are selling really well so I am considering buying a video camera that I can use to record both time lapse and standard footage.

I would like some advice on what sort of camera to buy if possible. Will I be able to get something for under 2.5$ that will produce decent quality videos.
Here my referal link Shutterstock you can get an idea of the quality I need to achieve.

Cheers
Doug
