I'm Back!

Those that know me may well have noticed I've been somwhat conspicuous by my absence for the last few months. I have been flitting in and out on the odd occasion but nothing like you're all used to.

As cliche as it might sound, you could say I've been through a tranistionary period. What with a family bereavement earlier in the year and my sister being diagnosed with cancer a few months ago, you could say my priorities changed somewhat. Anyway, I've been putting my mind and time to other things lately but I'm slipping back into my old way so for good or bad you'll be seeing more input from me as I ramp up to being me again.

The bad news is that not havging been used for weeks on end, The case on my PC had busted. :( It has a motorised front that covers the DVD drives. Bloody things busted so I have to slide it by hand now.

So what Have I missed then? How did the comp go and how many entries were in this year?

And also, am I outstanding any promises or favours to anyone? A couple I knew I was overdue on were sorted today so read your email and PMs Robin and Brent!

So, in short the man with the gun is back so it's time to stop hijacking those threads

I had wondered where you were, but just assumed you were doing some hard time.

Glad you're back, check the comp entries..... I think the Killer Queen one was pretty good.....

Sorry to hear about your bad times mate, welcome back.

Thanks for the PM, we'd sort-of sussed that you were concentrating on things non-video but I'm really glad that you're back.

It does mean that I'll have to keep on thread though...damn.

Edit: As for the comp... we were a bit short of entries but there were a couple of stunners, Turnmedia and Tony A, the eventual joint-winners (ie they tied for first place, not that they won a joint) made excellent entries. I'd like to say it was a swizz and I should have won, but I must admit that my entry was outclassed by those two. There were a couple of really nice entries from newcomers too, so get on down to the thread and have a look.

Hi Alan, sorry to hear things have been difficult.

'swizz' - grin, I remember that when I was a lad- think i will start saying it again- yea, lets bring back the seventies slang - man.
