HI,

I have a startup that needs funding and I'm going to put my project on kickstarter.com to raise some.
I need someone to create a video which will look good and creative because the idea is also creative.Vid also needs a female voice probably for narrating.
Vid is for 1-2 mins so its not a huge task.

No money is to be given unless we get funded and then payment would be generous (we will discuss about it upfront).
Willing to e-sign an agreement about this so your money is guaranteed if we get funded, otherwise its just recognition of your work , sorry but we are on the same page here :)

PM me if interested,

Hey! I'm brand new to this forum. I don't know how often I'll be on here, but I more and more have the impression that such places are a good way to get a general background in different subject areas, especially with anything movie related. Therefore, maybe I should stick around :)

Anyway, this has been a burning question of mine ever for some time now. How do you maintain a sense of continuity with audio? In many movies and tv shows, I see it done flawlessly when a conversation is taking place. Say there is a conversation between two people, sitting across from each other at a relatively small table. One character is talking and the camera is focused on him/her as he/she talks. Then, the other person starts talking without an immediate cut from the person previously talking. However, after a few words from the other character, the camera cuts to this other character without missing a beat. Without any pause. How do you do this???? Does the crew just use two cameras instead of one, both continuously rolling and therefore making it easy to match the audio?

What about when the camera is further back, so that both are on screen and then the camera cuts closer up to one of the characters as they are talking? How does an editor do this so perfectly as to have such a technique go unnoticed to the passive viewer?

I feel like I could improve the quality of my short films immensely if I figured out how to do this.

EDIT: By the way, I usually use iMovie. As soon as I can earn some money, I hope to get final cut, but until then, iMovie is what I have.

OK . . . I am a long time wedding photographer just getting into video. I shot a concert (not for pay!) with my Nikon D7000 and D300. The D7000 was used to shoot the entire stage while the I handheld tighter shots with the D300. It looks like the D7000 was shooting 1080 and the D300 740 resolutions. When I cut the clips together in Premiere CS6 (30 day trial) no matter how I export the finished video, the clip from the D300 shows smaller when it comes in.

How can I upsize the 740 clips or downsize the 1080 clips so that the output is even . . .

Thanks for any help . . . sorry if I didn't do a good job of explaining myself!

Hey everyone, me again with another DIY video. :) I've tried to put into effect a few suggestions I got on my last DIY video, one of which was less talking... not sure if I succeeded on with that though!

Anyway, though this is an extremely simple build, it's totally worth it if you want to take some really close up shots. Interestingly, it works better with longer focal lengths, which is a huge bonus as it helps get even closer! I have a 28-200 zoom, and at the long end it works brilliantly.

If you have an old fungus infected lens lying around, give this a go! :)

I working in a car dealership and we have started putting videos on our site and YouTube of the vehicles we have in stock.

I would like some advice on the best package to buy to do automated tasks

I would like to do a batch process for:

Removing the sound and adding music.
Have an intro and outro image with a transition
Add an overlay/watermark every 20seconds
Export it to .f4v

We currently do it on window movie maker (I am a video noob) but it takes ages to setup each time even though we template some of it and we do up to 20 cars a day.

I have an example:
pe09tyd - YouTube

It would also be good if it:
Upload to YouTube
If we could display the content of a text file dynamically like in Photoshop.

Thanks in advance.

I have my fcp project set up, sony z5 firewired in but no picture coming through to the tape when I set it up to go.
Not done this before and not even sure if I should have the camera set to vcr or camera mode. When I've played out in VCR mode a little recording button has shown on the screen but it just records blackness.

My project was proress 422, ive changed sequence settings and audio visual settings to hdv 1080p25 to match the camera and rendered it all. no luck there either.

Has anyone here played out to video much? Could really do with a little step by step guide if possible :/
