quick encore question -animating buttons..

hi..

ive been making a menu with buttons that fly on the screen - I only want these buttons to be active when all the buttons are in there final resting place.. how do I set a certain time for the buttons to become active..is this done in AE or in encore??

don't know if there's a better wya to do this but I would just make a video of the buttons sliding on in AE or whatever, import that to the Encore project, then set that to play when your menu is selected and set it's end action to the menu,

so the video plays then the menu plays after it. buttons are only active when the menu's started and you can loop it without having to loop the opening animation aswell.

i am just getting to gripps with both of these progs my self.. i am pretty sure it should be done in AE first then once the buttons have got to their possition in an AE video you then have to get the same layout of the last frame of the vid in an encore format so the buttons can be used as buttons.... OMG i have confused myself! i have seen a few tutorials on this.

i all honesty i would just leave them all static.... much less hastle!
