Default Encoding

Hi. First time on the forum.
I want to pick your brains and ask you, which AVI to DVD encoder do you use or think is the best and the same goes for codecs?
I have divx and klite codec pack but I don't seem to get good results. The enoder and burner I am using is Dvdsanta.

Bill.

it sounds like your trying to copy dvds... i never got dvdsanta to work... up untill2 months ago all you needed was dvd shrink, it came with its own decryptor. but about 2 months ago the programs author was going to face copyright charges if he didn't change the program. now you just get the compression software. which was kind of pointless sence the latest encryptions make the old dvdshirnk outdated.

I use TMPGEnc.
I've never been unhappy with the quality, ease or speed of transcoding.
