Default VRO FORMAT

Hey there not sure if any will answer this but thought I would give it a try. I have recently purchased a Video Recorder that records straight to disc. The problem I am having is after I have transfered the vid to my computer and try to put it on a normal DVD in al programs I have it is saying VRO is uncompatabile format. Do I try and change the format? Any suggestions (prefer freeware!! LOL). Hope someone out there can help me.

CHEERS!

Hi, I did a little digging and you should be able to do what you need to do with TMPG DVD Author, free trial available here: http://www.pegasys-inc.com/en/product/tda.html

I haven't used this particular software but I've used the free TMPG encoder and it was very good and easy to use.

It looks like it's fairly straight forward, there's a step-by-step guide to dealing with VRO's available: here

good luck.
